Steve Prescott..M.B.E....R.I.P

Steve was a rugby league player ..who played for his home town team St Helens...he was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer seven years ago.Instead of sitting around doing nothing ,Steve set up the Steve Prescott Foundation  to raise money for cancer research and rugby league.
He set himself and completed so many challenges that he astounded everyone and raised half a million pounds.....no mean fete for someone battling cancer.
Sadly on Saturday 9th November Steve passed away..but he will always be remembered both here in St Helens across the whole rugby league community , the sporting world and the world in general...a real Superman...
