I just saw the reference picture when I was looking on google and thought at first it was a real life Alfred e Newman from the covers of the Mad magazine.....it wasn't of course ....Switzer played the character Alfalfa insome short films called "our gang"....

I saw these films at the Saturday matinee cinema shows in the early 70s-----great stuff, seems to have inspired Lord Snooty.
