Cartoon Comp
This weeks comp was to draw a wordless cartoon about pirates....for those of you who may not understand my cartoon, Caroline was a pirate radio station aboard a boat way back in the 6o's and is still going today...

Giovanni Guareschi..
I've just bought a 1952 edition of the book "the little world of Don Camillo" by Giovanni. I read this book years ago and am pleased to have a copy and enjoy the funny stories of Don Camillo and his adversary Peppone the mayor and communist party leader in the village.
As well as writing Guareschi was a caricaturist and cartoonist..hope you like it Ps read the book its great....

Back in the late 60's and early 70's I used to enjoy watching Rowan and Martins Laugh In, and in the show was Goldie Hawn...dont know if I've really captured her but this is how I best remember her....hope you like it..

Cannes and Monaco
We have just spent a few days in Cannes on the Cote d'Azur thanks to our sons and there wives.It was a birthday present for my wife and I.
I dont think the word "recession" is known in that part of the world....especially in Monte Carlo..as you can see from the phots we moored our yacht, its the long pointy one top left...got into the Bentley and drove to the famous Casino...!! now home and back to reality....work tomorrow.....

Dogs..
over the last twenty odd years we have had three dogs .I thought I'd try and draw them.The first one we had was a dalmation,named Spider by our young sons because at the time Spiderman was the rage.He was a great dog and lived to be 15.Hope you like it...
